Cookie Policy

Last Updated: November 19, 2021

This Cookie Policy (this “Policy”) describes how DrippExtracts (“DRIPP,” “us” or “we”) may use cookies and other tracking technologies in association with the operation of the websites we own or control (today or in the future), including www.drippextracts.com and its webpages (the “Site”) and DRIPP html-formatted emails (collectively, “digital technologies”).  This Cookie Policy explains cookies and web beacons/pixel tags and, where applicable, how you can choose to control them. This Cookie Policy is part of our more comprehensive Privacy Policy and is a legally binding agreement between DRIPP and you as a user of our products, services and at the Site (the “Services”).

Updates to this Policy.  We may change this Policy at any time. Please check back to review any updates to this Policy. The last modified date at the top of this page indicates when this Policy was last revised. Any changes in this Policy will become effective when we make the revised Policy available on or through the Site. If we make material changes to this Policy, we will present a notify you.]

Cookie Banner and Consent.  By clicking “Accept Cookies” button on our cookie pop-up notice when you first visit the Site, or clicking to close the cookie pop-up notice, you agree that you have affirmatively consented to and opted-in to our use of the digital technologies as described in this Policy. Further, by using the Services, you agree that we can use the digital technologies as described in this Policy.

What are cookies?  Cookies are small text files placed on your device to store data that can be recalled by a web server in the same domain that placed the cookie. The text in a cookie often consists of a string of numbers and letters that uniquely identifies your device, but it can contain other information as well.  Cookies on the Site are used to store your preferences and settings, enable you to sign-in, provide interest-based advertising, combat fraud, analyze how our products perform, personalize your experience and the content you see on the Site (such as showing you information about our products and services that you have previously viewed or accessed or may be interested in), and fulfill other legitimate purposes.

What are web beacons/pixel tags?  The Site may also contain electronic images known as web beacons (also called pixel tags) that we use to help deliver cookies on our websites, count users who have visited, and gather usage and performance data. We also include web beacons in our promotional email messages or newsletters to determine whether you open and act on them, and in our ads appearing on other websites to measure the performance of those ads.

What digital technologies does DRIPP Use?  We use different types of cookies on the Site to make your interaction with the Site easy and meaningful – strictly necessary cookies, functionality cookies, analytics cookies, and advertising cookies. The Site may include first-party cookies (i.e., cookies that send data directly to DRIPP and agents and contractors acting on our behalf, including cookies used to monitor, analyze, and administer the Site) and third-party cookies (i.e., cookies that send data to third parties for their own commercial use).  We use cookies that are session-based and persistent-based. Session cookies exist only during one session. They disappear from your computer or device when you close your browser software or turn off your computer. Persistent cookies remain on your computer or device after you close your browser or turn off your computer. You can control the use of cookies at the individual browser level, but note that if you choose to disable cookies, it may limit your use of certain features or functions on our services and websites.  Below we describe the different types of cookies we may use on the Site and our purpose for using them.

  • Strictly Necessary Cookies. Some cookies are essential to the operation of the Services. They are used to facilitate our log-in process, authenticate users, and enable you to navigate the Site and to use their features. Without these cookies, we may not be able to provide certain services or features, and the Sites may not perform as smoothly for you as we would like.  Because strictly necessary cookies are essential to operate the Site, there is no option to opt out of these cookies.

  • Functional Cookies. In some circumstances, we may use functional cookies. Functional cookies allow us to remember the choices you make while browsing on the Site, and to provide enhanced and more personalized content and features, such as customizing a certain webpage, remembering if we have asked you to participate in a promotion and for other services you request, or commenting on a blog. In order to permit your connection to the Site, our servers receive and record information about your computer and browser, potentially including your IP address, browser type, and other software or hardware information. All of these features help us to improve your visit and assist in navigation of the Site’s features.

  • Analytics Cookies. We and our service providers may use analytics cookies, which are sometimes called performance cookies, to collect information about your use of the Site and enable us to improve the way they work. Analytics cookies collect information about how you use the Site, for instance, which pages you go to most. This information allows us to see the overall patterns of usage, helps us record any difficulties users may have while using the Site and shows us whether or not our advertising is effective.

  • DRIPP Advertising Cookies. We may also use cookies and similar tools to correlate your use of the Site to personal information obtained about you. These Cookies are used to (1) deliver advertisements more relevant to you and your interests; (2) limit the number of times you see an advertisement; (3) help measure the effectiveness of an advertising campaign; (4) retarget to the Site; and (5) understand user behavior after viewing an advertisement. These advertising cookies are used by our advertising agencies that we have contracts with that restrict their use of information such that they are only to provide DRIPP advertisements and not use such information for any other purposes.
  • Third Party Advertising Cookies. We also allow third-party advertising partners to use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to collect or receive information regarding your activities on those web pages (e.g., your IP address, page(s) visited, time of day, and cookie identifiers). These companies may use this information (and combine it with information collected over time and across other websites, apps, or other digital services) for purposes of delivering future targeted advertisements to you to provide measurement services when you use the digital technologies, and when you interact with other (non-DRIPP) sites and online services. This practice is commonly referred to as “interest-based advertising” or “online behavioral advertising.”  These cookies are used by third-party advertising partners for their own commercial purpose.

  • Social Media Cookies. These cookies are used when you share information using a social media sharing button or “like” button on the Site or you link your account or engage with our content on or through a social networking site such as Facebook, Twitter or Google+. The social network will record that you have done this. This information may be linked to targeting/ advertising activities.

What are my Choices? When it comes to non-essential cookies and web beacons, you have the following choices:

  • Browser cookie controls. Web browsers vary on whether they are set to accept various types of cookies by default. You can go to your browser settings to learn how to delete or reject cookies. If you choose to delete or reject cookies, this could affect certain features or services of our website. If you choose to delete cookies, settings and preferences controlled by those cookies, including advertising preferences, may be deleted and may need to be recreated.

  • Do Not Track. Some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” (DNT) features that can send a signal to the websites you visit indicating you do not wish to be tracked. Because there is not a common understanding of how to interpret the DNT signal, the Site does not currently respond to browser DNT signals.
  • Global Privacy Controls (GPC). GPC empowers users to signal their chosen privacy settings to websites through their browser. If you have turned the GPC signal on, the Site will accept your signal preferences.
  • Promotional Emails. You can disable web beacons in email messages by changing the settings on your email to prevent the automatic downloading of images.
  • Industry-wide opt-outs. Many advertising companies are also members of associations, which provide a simple way to opt out of analytics and ad targeting, which you can access at:
